Information you send
If you email us, we receive the address, message, and any information you choose to include. We use it to respond, investigate corrections, and maintain business records.
Hosting and security data
Our hosting and security providers may process standard request data—such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and timestamps—to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures. Their handling is governed by their own terms and policies.
Cookies and analytics
Set & Spec does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies in this version. We record a minimal first-party event when a visitor opens a manufacturer link: the Build Sheet, product role, destination merchant, language, timestamp, the category of site that referred the visit (for example “Pinterest”, “ChatGPT”, or “direct”), and the campaign variant from the link you arrived on, if any. The event carries a random one-time identifier so a retried request is not counted twice; it is not reused across clicks. We do not place a persistent identifier in the visitor’s browser, and we do not store an IP address, user agent, or referring URL in this click record. Before broader analytics or the Pinterest tag is enabled, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated.
External links
Blueprints link to manufacturer websites. Those sites control their own data practices, and their policies apply after you leave Set & Spec.
Retention and requests
Click-event rows are kept for up to 13 months and then deleted; aggregated counts without row-level data may be kept longer. Email and business records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose received, legal obligations, and security. To ask about your information or request deletion, email pinterest@setandspec.com.
